Recent acquisitions have elevated Arpadis into one of Europe's leading toll processing organizations. Now with two facilities offering general custom processing and synthesis to customers highest and most demanding specifications, Arpadis Custom Processing is well placed to offer for example:
a) The customer also provides the raw materials, which remain its property throughout the processing period.
By offering this service, Arpadis renders a production infrastructure profitable and manages the processing process.

b) By means of a sell and buy back operation, the raw materials are acquired by Arpadis for the account of the customer
on the basis of the customer's specific requirements. Custom processing is carried out by Arpadis, on the basis of the
customer's specifications, and the customer purchases the product once it has been processed and packaged.
In both cases, the customer provides Arpadis with the technology required for the processing operation.
The subsidiaries active in this sector are:
■ Arpadis Manage S.A. (former SigmaKalon factory in Manage, taken over in March 2007
■ Arpadis Gondecourt (France) - former CATRY SA
■ and shortly Arpadis Custom Processing China Co. Ltd in Nanjing, China, for which land has already been acquired.
The group's development strategy for the coming years is predominantly based on development of this sector of activity. This will involve firstly, incorporating the Manage & Gondecourt plant into the group and developing its utilisation rate, and secondly, successfully completing the construction of a plant in China, which will cover the areas of activity in which the group has gained experience in Europe and which will enable it to respond to the requirements of its customers in that part of the world.
The subcontracting market for batch production in the chemical industry arises from the bottlenecks large corperations encounter when continously diversifying their product range. Most companies have chosen to offer their products as mixes, which are not always easy to produce within their own structure or generate problems and disruption of the normal production flow.
Arpadis Custom Processing has since 2003 been engaged in the custom manufacturing, distribution and sale of value added liquids, powders and pastes for major companies in the coatings, steel, adhesives, industrial and automotive industries. We act as subcontractor so that companies achieve more economical and flexible production.
Our laboratories have skills in meeting quality control and/or colour tinting requirements according to ISO 9001/2000 standards, providing appropiate certification.
We offer full flexibility in dispersing, heating, grinding, blending, filtering and packaging of liquids and solids to customer's needs with just in time delivery and cost.
On more than 269.000 square meters of land, of which more than 31.000 square meters are developed sites, we offer handling, storage and distribution of dangerous chemicals, with special focus on added value services such as drumming and container storage.
